The School District of New London is continually working to improve our assessment system and, in turn, enhance our ability to use data to guide instructional and curricular decisions. The School District of New London believes in a balanced assessment system that uses summative assessments (given yearly), interim assessments (given 3-4 times a year), and classroom assessments and observations (ongoing during the school year) to help provide teachers and other stakeholders with a comprehensive look at the skills and achievement of each student.
