Sugar Bush Elementary School

Sugar Bush Elementary School is located due north of the city of New London and serves families on the north side of New London as well as the community of Sugar Bush.  Sugar Bush Elementary School recently celebrated fifty years of learning, and it was an amazing community celebration!  Sugar Bush Elementary is our district’s smallest elementary school with approximately 110 students in four-year-old kindergarten through fourth grade, but it is located on one of the largest parcels of land our district owns.  This offers many opportunities for students and staff including outdoor learning, a school forest, and snowshoeing.  Sugar Bush students and staff continue to live our school district mission of Success for All Students, and we have much to celebrate as we continue to grow and learn.

Principal's Message

Welcome to Sugar Bush Elementary School!  Sugar Bush holds an enormous place in my heart as this is where I began my teaching career as a student teaching intern.  After teaching and serving as a curriculum specialist in Oshkosh, I have returned and have enjoyed the past ten years serving as building principal.  As one father of four has shared, “I walk in and everyone knows my daughter! No matter the age of the student or the position of the staff member.”

Success For All Students, our school district’s mission, is met at Sugar Bush by providing individualized instruction for every student.  Sugar Bush Elementary prides itself on successes in core academic areas.  In addition to academics, our active community and Parent Teacher Organization assure students enjoy a well-rounded learning experience.  Call, email, or stop in if you'd like to discuss any other aspect of Sugar Bush Elementary School.  It is always great to learn at Sugar Bush Elementary!
