Nursing Services

The school health services program functions to enhance the educational process by maintaining and improving the physical and mental health of students and staff. There is an emphasis on prevention of illness, injury and disability; case finding, counseling, early intervention and remediation of health problems. Other areas of concern include consultation on health instruction, nutrition, health of athletes, and the provision of a safe school environment.
